Hiring the right people with the right skills is a paramount factor in the success and growth of any organization. In an era marked by fierce competition and rapidly evolving industries, making the right hiring choices can significantly impact an organization's effectiveness and longevity. Here's an in-depth exploration of this critical aspect of human resources. 1. Aligning Skills with Organizational Goals Hiring the right people starts with a clear understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. NEED TO CURB OR BETTER STILL REDUCE EXPECTATIONS

UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS BRING MISERY INTO AN INDIVIDUAL’S LIFE When talking to friends and former colleagues, I realise that many individuals have unrealistic expectaions on a few matters. These expectaions then lead them into an unhappy phase and sometimes bring misery into their lives. WHAT ARE EXPECTATIONS? Expectations are personal beliefs about events that may or may not happen. They are assumptions about the future. Do understand that, in effect, expectations are anticipation based on subjective and objective aspects. PARENTAL EXPECTATIONS Sometimes, parents have unrealistic expectations about their children. Many children these days are not interested in taking over their parents large house or property. They choose to live and work overseas and on what they believe to be greener shores. There are many abandoned houses in the city because the children are all overseas. They do not have the time nor the inclination to return home and sort out this matter. CHILDREN...

WHY THEY DONT HIRE WHEN YOU ARE ABOVE 45

The preference for younger candidates and the potential reluctance to hire individuals above a certain age can stem from a variety of factors. It's important to note that not all corporate companies hold these biases, and many organizations value diversity and experience regardless of age. However, some common reasons behind the preference for younger candidates might include: Perceived Adaptability: Younger candidates are often seen as more adaptable to new technologies, work processes, and changing business environments. This perception may lead companies to believe that younger employees can more quickly integrate into modern workplace practices. Cost Considerations: Younger employees with less experience may command lower salaries and benefits than more experienced, older candidates. This can be appealing to companies aiming to manage costs. Long-Term Commitment: There might be an assumption that younger candidates are more likely to commit to the company for a long...

A very good day For me Doing things that stimulates my mind soul n heart. This is a triple effect mode. Everything we do with passion n love may differ from one to another. A good example is my need for adrenaline and passion cum love in riding superbikes, but with a high powered machine in a controlled environment like a track in sepang or suzuka with peers n friends is a good push to me.  We allow our dreams of being the next MotoGP champion and competitiveness get the better of us. Why do we do it? Because we can. Because the need to be challenged, measured, tested n most importantly the internal happiness.  The most important aspect it gets us into the positive mindset, that clears out the not so important issues, and keeps us focus on that moment, the team, the track, the discipline and YOU.
